I am a dork....

.............no--correct that. Super-dork. I was nodding off last night while grading some very intellectually stimulating undergraduate papers, when I thought to myself, "Hey. Today's a special day. Not every day is like this. At this precise time of day, it is now 1-1-11-11"....meaning... ( I know--I've just gotta elucidate this one, if only to make my "friends" cringe and wish they didn't know me)--meaning....01-01 (am-time of day)..on 1-1, 1-1 (day eleven--one one, month eleven for November)...

Well. As they say, the best part was yet to come. As I force myself to stay alert enough to stop doodling on my students' erudite work, another thought forces itself into my head (I know! They just come out of nowhere, dude..I have absolutely no say in it)...the thought being, "Well, actually, tonight's actually better--it will be 11-11pm on the 11th of November!!!".

Cannot believe that I penned this randomness here on my blog...am I crazy??
