"Can we refuse to inherit the world"???
..........hmm. I guess not.. Well, that's too bad.
Folks in media or exposed to it should really prioritize what they would like to have on record. As a world citizen, with issues like the waste of tons of resources (human and economic) on wars like the Iraq War ---which by the way started as a "War against terrorism" and they're now doing what, exactly???? How CAN you possibly end wars with more of them???!!!! Yeah, I get it..there isn't much to learn in terms of logistics there, Darfur-like "patheticism" (I have a goal to invent a new word everyday), Global warming, thousands of species getting into the T&E lists every other day, Urban sprawl, Corruption, and all the wonderful things that happen in domestic circles that may go unnoticed for years and years like the Austrian incest case (I was physically sick all of Wednesday morning), Walters proves yet again how entertaining affairs in D.C., political or other, can be (her TV shows obviously did not get her the attention she deserved, and I pity the fact that she had to resort to this). I now see this in the front page of the news.
I came across a highly amusing take on the whole thing this morning, take a look..
Affairs to Regret
In the "You Could've Taken This to the Grave and We Wouldn't Have Minded" category, newscaster Barbara Walters confessed she had an affair with U.S. Senator Edward Brooke, and country singer Mindy McCready confessed she had an affair with Hall of Famer Roger Clemens. In one week, a nation's faith in broadcasters, politicians, country singers, and baseball players had been ... um ... confirmed. The Walters-Brooke affair dated back to the '70s, was dusted off for her autobiography and "Oprah" interview, and, according to New York Magazine, surprised no insiders. The New York Daily News story received one side's "tearful" confirmation of the McCready-Clemens affair, which allegedly began in her teens, lasted 10 years, and may or may not appear on a documentary/reality show/album coming soon.
